5600 m.s.n.m (Volcan activo) 05:00 A.M. - 18:00 P.M. Located in the southwest side of the Salar de Atacama , it is the most active volcano in northern Chile. Since the XIX century Lascar has erupted 30 times so far, and its first registered climbing was in 1963. In its summit there is a radius of 10 km with six craters, and it is the central crater the most active among them. At 5145 m you will find a Sulphur Dioxide fumarole spectacle.
